The mountains stretch across the lands of Antebellum, forming from asphalt, granite , and debris of dead bodies. The mountains are all conjoined into a multi-structure that stretches from Shadow Lands towards Isle La Cassio before the earthquake that devastated the lands in 2187 BW. They reach up to six hundred feet tall, while going between three hundred to four hundred feet wide. These Mountains, have a almost sulfuric smell towards them, making the atmosphere around them turn a pale like yellow which is usually noticed around the sunset. In the center of the mountains reigns one volcano that has underground chambers that lead to a cavern . The heat pressure rises in these caverns forming crystals that look a indigo or even violet like coloring. The caves are filled with a type of ectoplasmic liquid that is a florescent blue coloring. This type of liquid is highly coveted, as it is believed to have magical qualities. The Crystals themselves are thought to be indestructible and can increase magical abilities. The Proof of the abilities being heightened is substantial, however, the effect varies based on motive of the seeker. The entrance to the caverns is a pathway, almost set in a series of spirals leading downwards into the cave from the plains around the mountains. One of the unique aspects of the mountains, is that it is where the Sanctuary 84 stands. Sanctuary 84 is hidden on the right side of the mountains, on the outskirts of the Shadow Lands. It is hidden by trees, and magical trinkets to ward off beings of ill intent. The Sanctuary 84 was built during the rule of King Leonidas's father Lord Cassio. When he had ordered the lower ranks be transported into the shadowlands. Outlaws would build the sanctuary to hide few people at the time from the lord's ill intentions of a tragic death. The features of the land is not just touched by the mountains or the Sanctuary 84 Temple but it is also enhanced by the overlaying trees and wild creatures that would surround the areas. The Wild creatures are practically harmless, as long as the travelers do not step on their territory. They are of a broad range between rabbits to imps, and wolves to leopards and faeries.
