Leorik, the second in command to the great king Leonidas, became king once Leonidas was drawn mad and defeated by Kayan Cross. Leonidas trusted Leorik, so it was bound for him to take the position of king, especially in the upcoming Great Dragon War. Leorik was the Thunder Dragon King. In battle he was known as The Great Trembler, for he shook the ground and the air every step he took and every time he used one of his lightning bolts. Leorik’s childhood was rarely known as most of the other kings’ childhood. He was found as a teenage dragon in a cavern during a storm by his quote unquote mother, Lorrie. Leorik then began training in the fields near the castles of Leonidas. Leonidas noticed how the young lad would train every single day. He put in effort to his powers and would push himself to the limits.
Leorik was accepted into the kingdom and he was nominated as top rank in the kingdom by age 17. The youngest to be top rank, high in his class, and low in his sass Leorik was granted second in command at the age of 23. People would bow down to Leorik as they did to Leonidas because of some of the main things Leorik did. Leorik was like a hero to the kingdom as well with Leonidas, Leorik just did his work where he could be seen. He would fly over with great thunderous might to save anyone in danger and stop the bad dragons that had roamed the lands and the kingdoms a long time ago.
Leonidas went crazy on the exact date of Leoriks 45th birthday. Leonidas’ daughter had died, and he didn’t know what to do. Leonidas was so engulfed in rage he took 3 teeth and formed them into blades using the best blacksmith around. Leorik had taken these fangs to the blacksmith for them to be formed. He actually had relations with the blacksmith as he was the husband to Leonidas’s wife and they talked often when he had to bring Leonidas’s daughter to him. Once the blades were formed special powers from 3 of the members of royalty (Leonidas, his wife, and his dead daughter.) were placed inside of the blade, the shadow blade having an essence, frost having a charm, and dragon having the blood of Leonidas. These blades were called: The Dragon Blade, The Shadow Blade, and The Frost Tiger Blade.
Leorik heard news that Leonidas was defeated by Kayan and he was struck with hurt. He felt as if he had lost a brother and was torn, but he could not show this emotion for a Great dragon war was on the rise. Everything had to be prepared and settled. The alliances he had made meant more to him now than ever before. Leorik had to gather as many forces as he could, which he did. Being a hero on the streets helped him in this matter for even the towns people wanted to help in anyway to protect the kingdom. Leorik also had one thing on mind if everything went wrong, the 3 children of gambit. They were to be stored in a room far off in the distant land. The room was to be protected by a magical barrier that would reflect falling objects and would protect the human eye from seeing it. The room would also be frozen shut, only for the 3 to get out when they all combine their powers and try to knock the door off. These 3 children were: Israfil, The Water Dragon, Mystic, The Ice Dragon, and Kayan, The Shadow Dragon. These were sure to be the last of the dragon kind and were granted immortality from the fallings of their parents in battle by their own selves. Once these humanoid dragons were sealed away in the room, no dragons were to return to the room and visit the dragons. Their slumber was deep, and they did not age while the war went on. Leorik went through great hights to protect these main 3 and always stayed port at the place they were left at. He needed to make sure that no dragon came and tried to kill these 3 off. Leorik had close calls and almost died 17 times fending off fleets of dragons by himself. Leorik had been through tougher times and he had something to protect. Even If it caused in the downing of his own kingdom he had to do this job.
The Great Dragon War lasted 97 years, killing off mostly every dragon in the area. The remaining dragons being Leorik, two of the seven wise ones, Leonidas’s wife, and the other knight that had joined Leorik in his time of need against the other fleets of dragons. Leorik was completely drained and had done his job. When flying back to his kingdom he made the discovery of how many had died from one of the wise dragons. Over 226,527 dragons lain at his claws. He hadn’t let his job down but he let his kingdom down for all them that believed in him being the savior was now dead. No enemy lain alive but no ally was either. Leorik then walked the ends of the ocean. He didn’t know how to deal with the losses he had and the depression weighed deep on Leorik.
Leorik decided to end off his life and his rain of being king to the boney world he was forced to be in. He was said to have walked into the ocean, never to come back. No one, not even the last two great dragon saints could find him. A shortage in food and water in the surrounding areas would then lead to the extinction of the other 4 dragons left. The dragons, before they died, payed homage to the statue of Leorik, hoping he would come back to save them like he would always does…
But It Never Happened.
